I am happy with the idea of not labeling people as being evil or not evil but it is a whole different ball game to say that some of these acts in themselves are not wrong."

Well, Mark, welcome to my NDE! I understand completely how you feel because I felt the same way when I learned all this information in the afterlife. But I learned something else that helps me understand: there are a million different perspectives in the universe and they are all true for those who hold them, at the time they hold them. For example, human animals have a completely different perspective on life and the afterlife than does Source/God. My writing and talks generally reflect Source or spiritual perspective because that is what I learned in the afterlife. The fact that Source and human perspectives are different, though, does not make either one of them wrong.

Source completely understands humans' beliefs about evil and right and wrong--but does not share that perspective. Nor are we "souls" expected to share Source's perspective while on earth. We share human perspective, which is completely valid while we experience their lives. Humans are judgmental and vindictive. And, just because Source does not judge human behavior at Source's level of existence does not mean we have to accept violence, killing, rape, torture or abuse without judgment at the human level of existence. We who are in humans experience the consequences of violence and have a right to do what we can to prevent it. Punishing offenders is an appropriate control measure. Adopting religious and personal values about right and wrong behavior is also appropriate. But insisting that Source share human judgments is not going to change Source's unconditionally loving and non-judgmental nature. What we can change is our desire to project human nature and beliefs onto Source.

To be clear--Source does NOT say torturing or killing another human, or any act of violence, is "right" or "ok." Source simply does not condemn itself/us for what we do in the physical world-just like you do not condemn yourself for what happens in your own dreams. Do you think you are evil when you hurt someone in a dream? Or have a nightmare full of murder and mayhem? No, because TO YOU it isn't real. You are not the character you portray in your dream; you simply watch the dream through his eyes. The same is true for Source: it/we are not the human characters we portray in physical life. We are parts of Source's own consciousness participating in the manifested world in much the same way you participate in your dreams. My experience of Source convinced me that it is unconditionally loving by nature. That means it loves and accepts us, and the Light Being soul within Hitler, despite what we do in the physical world. Maybe if you think of it as forgiveness, it would help. Source loves us/itself so much it forgives all we do while in human life. That's what unconditional love means.

"I am of course aware that this world is an illusion, which does put a different shade on things. However, the fact that you can't literally kill people doesn't change the fact that you can inflict enormous suffering. Dying might be an illusion but the suffering is not."

Accepting that the manifested world is illusory means you have achieved a spiritual perspective on life. The next step is to understand how that truth affects how we experience this world.

The entire human existence is manifested and "illusory," not just the physical appearances of it. I learned in the afterlife that the suffering isn't "real" either. The emotional experience IS real at the human level, but it is vicarious at our spiritual level. Let me explain. When you watch a particularly important football game, do you get angry with bad calls by the refs, excited by touchdowns, and annoyed by commercial breaks? Are you really angry, excited or annoyed with respect to your own life? No. You are reacting to the game and the emotions fade when the game is over. Similarly, when a woman cries through the ending of a "chick flick," is she actually suffering in her own life? No. She empathized with the fictional characters and forgets all about the crying after the movie ends. In much the same way, we parts of Source inside humans empathize with the lives of our human hosts. We suffer what they suffer--but only while we are in their bodies (and during the short time of the life review). My own experience in the afterlife was that all the pain and suffering I endured in Nanci's body was gone. In fact, Nanci's entire lifetime was revealed to be a vicarious experience, such as we might analogize to having a dream or being in a virtual reality game.

As for suffering with death--that is optional. We Light Being souls can choose to endure it or to get out of the body while it dies. Many near-death experience reports come from people who got out of their bodies to avoid the pain of dying or resuscitation.

The most important point here is that much human suffering could end tomorrow--if we would choose to do it. We Light Being souls have the power to stop our host bodies' hurtful behaviors. Why don't we? Because most people are not aware they even have this option. Most people truly believe they are human and cannot escape human emotions and motivations. That is why it is so important that we awaken each other to our true nature as parts of Source. Once you know that you are a powerful spiritual being, and not a human animal, you can believe you have the power to control your host body's behavior. Expressing more of our spiritual nature through our behavior would increase the amount of unconditional love in our human lives and decrease the violence and abuse.

How We Act Matters Whether We Are Punished or Not - May 27, 2010

I recently received a beautiful birthday card from my friend Bill, who reads this newsletter, and who asked the following as a joke: “If it doesn’t matter whether I’m loving and kind–or mean and hateful—why am I sending you a birthday card?”

Bill’s joke echoes a sentiment I hear over and over from readers. It is very hard to accept that Source/God does not punish us for misbehavior—or sin as some call it—when our organized religions have for millennia told us the opposite. On May 13th, in a teleconference call, Neale Donald Walsch gave the best response to this concern. He explained that after he had written about a third of his best selling Conversations with God: An Uncommon Dialogue, Book 1, he got this message from God: "There is no such thing as the Ten Commandments. . . You and I are one. Who would I command? Who would I punish? Myself?"

Source has no more interest in punishing its different personalities (you and I) than you have in punishing your dream characters. The key to accepting that there is no punishment in the afterlife is accepting that you are literally a subdivision of Source’s own personality—a facet of its personality and consciousness. Just like your dream characters are facets of your own personality and consciousness.

The fact that we are not punished in the afterlife for our human behaviors does not, however, mean that our actions here do not matter. They matter a great deal to those around us. Every action has a consequence not only to those directly impacted by it, but to ourselves, and everyone else. We see those consequences quite clearly in our human lives. We feel them exquisitely in our life reviews in the afterlife. We have the power to hurt or heal with our words, our touch, and our actions. Which would you rather do? Are you really behaving kindly only because you fear eternal punishment?
Our actions in physical life also matter a great deal to us as eternal beings. We do not stop being who we are after these bodies die. We still believe we are separate beings from Source. We still have emotions. And we remember every single detail of every moment of our physical lives. We remember all too clearly how many of our human behaviors contradicted our true nature as unconditionally loving parts of Source. Those memories are very powerful and impact how we see ourselves. How do you want to remember human life? As a wonderful adventure? Or as a place where you acted like an animal?

More Purpose of Life Questions and Answers - April 28, 2010

During my afterlife experience, I received huge downloads of “knowings” about the differences between humans and Source. Humans think Source is like a human. It is not. In fact, human innate character traits are oftentimes, by design, the opposite of Source’s own nature.

BACKWARDS reader Staffan, from Sweden, asks several questions about the purpose of certain human experiences:

“[F]or source who has unlimited sourcebeams, whats the purpose to experience yet another murder, or yet another broken heart . . . or whatever? . . . much is boring, the same . . . .”

Source does not specifically intend to experience “yet another murder, or yet another broken heart” and isn’t particularly interested in boring behavior. In fact, Source does not literally intend to experience any specific human behavior. Source created a multitude of different imaginary characters/personalities (“Sourcebeams”) in its mind (us—what I call Light Beings) in order to see what we, its characters/personalities, would create within the physical matter environment. To see how we would interact with various types of physical matter when we pour some of our Energy into it. Source’s interest is in the creative process, not the daily actions of one type of creature on a tiny planet called Earth.

Humans believe Source observes and manages their day-to-day activities. It does not. To Source, there is no reason to control what happens in the physical universe because it is not real. As an analogy, think of your own dreams. Do you consciously enter into the dream and control everything that a dream character does? Forcing some actions, and vetoing others? Or do you just watch and see what happens unconcerned, because you know the dream isn’t real? In the same way, Source manifests the physical universe, and allows its characters/personalities (us) to experience it without interference. To Source, everything happening in the universe transpires solely within its own imagination and has no permanent consequences. Just like your own dreams transpire solely within your own mind and have no consequences during your “real” waking life.

If the humans we inhabit engage in repetitive, destructive, or pointless behavior, it is because of their nature as animals. Most animal behavior is repetitive and boring. Humans are also violent by nature. They will use physical or emotional violence when they don’t get their own way, unless physically restrained. Hence the murders and broken hearts. We Light Being “Souls” can choose to allow our host bodies to act however they want. Or, we can choose to train or control them. When we don’t exercise our power to redirect human behavior into more constructive channels, we get the repetitive, boring, and violent acts we see in the world. Source does not intervene to force humans to act certain ways, or to force Light Being Souls to exercise control over their hosts, because that would defeat the creative process it designed.

“But you say in your first book that the ‘lightbeing’ is learning and evolving . . . so there must be a purpose or a road that we all travel. I mean evolving from what into what?”

Humans think life has to have a goal that they can understand and accept. In other words, there has to be something in it for them. But, for the Creator/Source, physical life is the goal—to experience emotions, sensations and situations unavailable to a purely non-physical Energetic entity.
Source is evolving into a more “knowing” entity. Its Universal Knowledge is expanding with everything that happens in the physical world. We Light Being characters within Source are evolving into more experienced personalities, not into something different from our innate nature as parts of Source. Humans are not evolving into anything different either. The current second human species will eventually die out and be replaced with a third version of human, according to what I saw in the afterlife about mankind’s future.
Life is the road we all follow.

“But what else than love is there to learn? If there is anything to evolve or learn it must be love or understanding. One could also say “gaining” awareness but that is love as I see it . . or what du you say?”

I know many, many religions and philosophies teach that we are here to learn unconditional love, to experience unconditional love, or to express Source’s unconditional love within the physical world. Based upon my merger into Source, none of these assumptions are accurate.

Source loves unconditionally by nature. It knew all about what love feels like before creating this universe. Source unconditionally loves its creation. The whole point of creating physical matter is for Source to experience everything it can imagine that is different from its own unconditionally loving nature. Source’s Light Being characters/personalities do not enter into human animals to learn, teach, feel, express or relate to unconditional love. We do not need to, because unconditional love is our very nature as parts of Source. We live it fully in every way imaginable outside these bodies. Learning love for a Light Being would be like learning to breathe for a human. It’s automatic! We enter into humans in order to experience their very different lives, character traits, and emotions. Humans do not love unconditionally.

Source and its “Light Being” characters/personalities are “learning” what it’s like not to be Source, to experience emotions foreign to Source (like hate, revenge, fear, possessiveness, judgment, boredom, etc.), and to experience all possible situations and behaviors from all conceivable perspectives (which leads to complete understanding, aka “knowings”). It is a creative, imaginative, process. It’s about living vicariously through physical matter.

“[Y]ou evolve ever higher i[n] frequency in the human life . . . by how much you learn to love for instance . . . that frequency determines how much heaven you(light being) can experience or want to experience. Well I ask because that’s what I have read.”

My understanding and experience is that human life is an extremely low Energy level, frequency, or vibration. Experiences here do not increase our Energy, frequency, or vibration. In fact, it takes a significant transformation process in the afterlife to raise the Energy level of the part of us that has been a “Soul” back to a point where it can recombine with the rest of us that remains in the afterlife. I don’t know what the rest of the statement (“how much heaven”) means, so I cannot comment on it.

For a discussion about (a) why Source “allows” evil in the world, see the post for April 2009; (b) how Source can find rape, murder and child abuse “interesting,” see the post for June 2009; and (c) why Source does not control what happens on Earth, see the post for August 2009.

Manifesting Booster Shots

Reader Mark writes: “I am willing to believe I am a part of Source, and can manifest, consciously, that which I desire . . . but when I attempt to engage with it, I tend not to experience the cause-and-effect, or at least with the rapidity that I would like.”

Unfortunately, there can be a time delay when we manifest while in the body because of the linear aspect of the human experience. Some manifestations will appear very quickly while others seem to take months or years. I know the frustration you are feeling, Mark. All I can say is keep your eyes, ears, and heart open, and stay in the present moment, so you can recognize your manifestation when it appears. Often our manifestations take a different form than expected. For example, I consciously manifested an improvement in my immune system. I expected to just magically feel better. What I got was a blood test showing a Vitamin D deficiency. That sure didn’t seem like what I intended to manifest. But it was! Taking the Vitamin D supplement boosted my immune system. So, sometimes our manifestation presents in the form of a problem whose solution turns out to be exactly what we wanted. Most of our manifestations take the form of an experience, event, situation, or opportunity. Look for anything you might call a coincidence or ironic.

“I feel that my excitement quickly wanes, and it’s hard to ‘stick with it’ without having people around me who have done this intention/attention work (consciously) and have something to show for it.”

That’s a common problem. We all need reinforcement and reassurance that our chosen plan of action actually works. But I find the best success story is one’s own; success breeds success. You have to practice consciously manifesting the same way your body practiced learning how to walk, feed itself, ride a bike, etc. Start with something small that doesn’t require the cooperation of other Light Beings. Maybe put your attention on having something good happen today and intend to feel good. Then see what happens. If that produces the desired result, try another small manifestation, like putting your attention to finding a lost item and intending to find it. Keep building small successes like that and work your way up to the big ones. (Don’t fret if there are some failures along the way. You didn’t learn to walk in one day.) It also helps to make your spiritual exercises a priority in your life. Set aside meditation time every day and stick to it. Force yourself to form a habit of turning your attention to what you want to manifest by putting reminder notes on your mirror, bedpost, refrigerator, computer, etc.

“The ‘pickle’ I feel is that I can relax my mind, in bed, in the morning, imagine myself as trim, muscular, handsome, wealthy, and all the other good qualities I like . . . but, then my day gets going, and it all seems to ‘go out the window.’ In other words, it’s like there is my imagination side, which is sharp and active, but it seems to bear little-to-no influence on my behavior or my situation.”

You are not alone. Even though I know for a fact from being in the afterlife that I can and do manifest, I still have to make the daily effort to keep my focus on consciously manifesting. Remember, manifesting is way more than “imagining” something. If fantasizing worked, we’d all be happy campers. Manifesting is literally creating physical reality. It takes a lot more commitment and effort than we may want to devote to it. Because it does take concentrated attention and intention, I find it’s best to work on manifesting one life change at a time.

Generally speaking, when we are in the body we manifest in conformity with the existing collective manifestation of earth life. For example, if someone is not trim and muscular, he is not going to wake up one morning and find a body like Brad Pitt’s staring back at him in the mirror. We Light Beings can, and do, perform miracles like that. But generally we don’t. So manifesting a trim and muscular body will take the form of creating new opportunities to exercise and eat better. Maybe a flyer comes in the mail about a gym opening up with a special membership rate of $1 a month. That’s your manifestation. Or a friend moves and gives you his exercise equipment. That’s your manifestation. Or you hear about a drug that controls appetite and find out your insurance plan covers it. That’s your manifestation. The human body still has to do the work to get into shape because that’s the nature of the human manifestation. What you will manifest will be specific ways to do it that fit your spiritual purposes.

As for becoming wealthy, money is not going to fall from the sky into your hands because that’s not how the earth manifestation is designed. Some manifestations like this require the cooperation of other Light Beings and Source, because the collective manifestation has to be changed, affecting many lives. Becoming wealthy requires others to give you money. Your piece of the manifestation is to generate opportunities to make money by providing a service, selling something, winning a contest, or receiving a gift, grant or inheritance. Then you actually have to perform the service, sell the item, or enter the contest. The person paying the money has to cooperate in your manifestation at both the human and the spiritual level. When I want to manifest something that I know requires the agreement of other Light Beings, I say (call it a prayer if you like): “To Source and all those Light Beings who might be affected: If it would be consistent with my mission and goals this life, I intend to change the manifestation of Nanci’s life to _______. I ask that you both send me additional Energy to accomplish this and agree to change the collective manifestation to assist me.” Then I wait with the full expectation that something will happen. I may not know what, but I keep my eyes open so I’ll recognize my manifestation when it comes.

Manifesting

Manifesting Is Actual Creation of Physical Reality, Not Passive "Attraction"

During my afterlife experience, I received two separate "downloads" of information about manifesting physical reality. The first came right after I had intentionally manifested three completely real feeling earth-like scenes. I knew they were not real, because I knew I was no longer on Earth. The scenes were identified to me as "manifestations." The second download came after I had completed the transformation into spiritual perspective, and realized my human life had not been real at all. Human life was identified to me as a "manifestation."

I learned that "manifesting" is the phenomenon by which Source/God creates what humans perceive to be physical matter and physical reality. I also learned that we are not humans, which are manifested animals. Rather, we are something like characters or personalities within Source's own mind/consciousness. Therefore, as parts of Source, we also manifest physical matter and physical reality, though on a smaller scale. We continue to manifest while inhabiting human animal bodies as "souls." Humans themselves cannot manifest.

Like Source itself, we manifest reality by focusing our "attention and intention" on what we desire to experience. "Attention" can take any form that focuses us on the topic of interest, such as ordering our thoughts, visualizing what we want to create, researching the subject, conversation about the subject, and taking physical action in furtherance of what we want to experience. "Intention" must be spiritual creative intention. The highest form of creative intention is expectation--certainty at our spiritual level that a thing will exist, or an event transpire. Manifesting is an innate spiritual mental power. It has nothing to do with human desire or emotions, which are irrelevant.

We "souls" use manifesting to moment-by-moment craft our own sense of reality, as well as contribute to the collective co-creation of Earth that we all experience (though how we experience it differs from person to person). If we are not manifesting consciously, we are doing so unconsciously. We use manifesting to serve our spiritual purposes, not human greed. There is no spiritual get rich quick scheme, as manifesting is sometimes portrayed. Manifesting follows beliefs. We consciously and unconsciously manifest into reality what we truly and deeply believe. Sometimes we experience something we think we would never have chosen for ourselves. But, in reality, we may simply be manifesting from beliefs of which we are unaware.

There is no "Law of Attraction," according to what I learned in the afterlife. The idea of a law of attraction is based on the human belief that we are separate beings from Source--that we are humans. It is easier to believe we are separate from Source, and that we can use human powers to attract something we want from the universe/Source/God, than to accept that we are actually part of the Supreme Being we worship. But we are part of Source. And we do have its powers. We do not attract anything from the universe; rather, we create what we want within the physical matter universe. We are co-creators with Source of this universe and everything in it.

Thank you so much for being open to the message I returned from death to share.

Nanci

Hellish Near-death Experiences

Several people have raised a question about a blanket statement I made in my books, and in a YouTube video, that "there is no hell." They have pointed out to me that several near-death experiencers (NDErs) report hellish environments. For example, Alexis writes in a YouTube comment:

"You said that hell does not exist in the mind of the source in your video. But a lot of people had a hellish experience. Can you help me to understand!! Please."

To be clear, what I learned as I merged into Source is that there is no place, or level of existence, where Source/God sends people for all eternity to suffer for their behavior.

First, I personally give the highest credibility to NDE accounts. In short, I believe NDErs truly experienced what they report.

Second, no one on the outside can even begin to truly evaluate someone else's interior, personal, spiritual experience. Those of us who have had near-death and afterlife experiences can empathize with our brethren. And our experiences may have similar features. But, just like there is no way to be certain you and I are seeing the exact same color when we call something "blue," there is no way to be certain we are truly on the "same wavelength" when we think we understand another's near-death experience. So, I could be completely wrong about hellish NDEs.

Third, I naturally view others' experiences in light of what I learned during my own. My understanding is that when I died, it was my time to leave human life permanently. I never reached a barrier beyond which I could not pass. I was never told I had to go back to human life. And, no one resuscitated me before I returned to Nanci's body voluntarily. Consequently, it is my understanding that what I went through is the full-blown process we follow after death to transition back to our natural spiritual state, and ultimately to merge back into Source. I experienced steps that are much deeper in the transition process than maybe 99% of near-death and afterlife experiencers. That gives me a perspective from which I can place others' accounts into a rough timeline on the transition process. In other words, I know that certain things change as you get deeper into the process because (a) that's what happened to me, and (b) Universal Knowledge informed me about the process.

I was given no Universal Knowledge about hellish NDEs during my afterlife experience. Anything I say about them is an extrapolation from what I remember of afterlife Knowledge on other topics. Based upon the accounts I have read or heard, my guess is the experiencer unknowingly, and unwittingly, manifested the hellish physical environment. Let me explain.

Universal Knowledge informed me that we have the ability, as parts of Source, to literally manifest what humans perceive to be reality. We are each capable of creating our own personal hell at any stage of our existence-during human life, or in what we call the afterlife. Our thoughts can create the same types of physical matter we see on Earth. And, while our manifestations may take time when we are in body, we manifest instantly once we leave the body. All it takes is attention and intention for us to manifest into physical reality (for us) what we truly, deeply believe. There are several stages in the after death transition process when we manifest what we expect, based on our beliefs. Eventually, though, Universal Knowledge enters our minds, informs us about manifesting, and allows us to see that we are creating the physical environments ourselves.

The hellish NDE accounts I have read occur, as Alexis notes, "before we see the light and not after." This is manifesting prime time. If we know we are dying, or are about to die, it is human nature to turn our thoughts to what we expect to happen after death. Someone who has been steeped in a religious tradition that believes in hell, and who truly, deeply believes in and fears hell, can easily manifest that belief into his/her own personal hellish physical reality when they leave the body. This manifested environment is most often created before the person sees the Light and feels Source's incredible love.

Rev. Howard Storm's hellish experience is a perfect example. He died in a hospital in excruciating pain, left his body, and manifested his own feared version of hell. He claims in his book that, at the time he died, he did not believe in heaven, hell, or God. But, his childhood Christian belief in hell rose to the surface in response to his fear of dying. He later saw the Light, and a Being of Light, when he started singing the children's song, "Jesus loves me. This I know." Rev. Storm believes Jesus saved him from hell. I believe switching his attention and intention from anguish to salvation broke the hellish manifestation. His experience thereafter progressed as the typical positive NDE. Mellen-Thomas Benedict's NDE started "in hell," as well. When he became aware that he was trapped in his own negative thoughts and fears, he shifted his attention and saw the Light. He states that he knew he had been manifesting the hellish experience himself.

Our understanding of what is happening to us during an NDE or afterlife experience depends upon (a) how far into the transition process we get, (b) our personal frame of reference (such as religious beliefs, education level, personality, etc.), and (c) our emotions at the time of death.

(a) For example, someone who just sees the Light, and then returns to the body, may very reasonably assume the Light is God. Those of us who entered into the Light realize it is not. Someone who enters into the Light, and goes no farther, may very reasonably believe he/she has merged into God. Those of us who actually merged into Source later in the process know being in the Light is not merger. Someone who gets back into body right after experiencing a hellish manifestation will be absolutely convinced that hell is real. Each person's understanding of what happened to him/her is limited by how far he/she went in the after-death process.

(b) Universal Knowledge explained that during the early stages of a near-death or afterlife experience, we still perceive everything the same way we did in the body, i.e., from the human perspective. It takes quite a bit of processing for that perspective to be worn off and replaced with what I call Light Being perspective. Thus, experiencers return absolutely convinced of their human-based interpretation of what they went through, if they did not get far enough in the transition process to gain the Light Being perspective. Physical environments are believed to be real-until the person's awareness is raised high enough to understand they are manifested. Spiritual beings appear with human-like bodies-until later in the transition when "knowings" allow the person to understand that bodies are not needed in a spiritual level of awareness. Etc.

(c) Sometimes a person who reports a hellish or frightening NDE experienced the same phenomena as those who report wonderful experiences. The difference is in the attitude of the experiencer. One person's dark, hellish, "nothingness" is another person's dark, comforting, supportive void. One person's tunnel of horrors sucking them out of life is another person's glorious trip through the universe.

Finally, a few of the frightening accounts I have read were penned by people who did not claim to have died. According to their own accounts, the experiences happened when they were asleep, blacked out, or overdosed on drugs. I am not qualified to comment on what goes on in those altered states of consciousness.

Thank you so much for being open to the message I returned from death to share.

Nanci

Questions about Beings of Light

Questions about Beings of Light

BACKWARDS reader Barbara asked for the following clarifications about Light Beings: "If there is access to the past, present, and future as a light being, can we choose to enter into a human body from the past or the future as opposed to the present? Or do we have to follow a progression to advance the human race and our light being?"

The concepts of past, present and future are artificial human constructs. Time does not exist once we leave the human body. All that exists outside the physical matter human experience is the everlasting now. So, in effect, we always enter into human life in the present. During my afterlife experience I remembered all of my hundreds or thousands of physical matter lifetimes as though they had all happened in the present.

"Is there a difference between light beings and life forms from outer space? . . . If aliens are different, at what vibrational level do aliens function at as they are extracorporeal, communicate telepathically, float, do not walk, have increased brain function, and can walk through our solid matter. I observed all of this."

Life forms from outer space are physical matter manifestations, just like humans and the other plant and animal species on Earth. "Light Being" is just a shorthand term I use to refer to us-you and me-when we are in our pure spiritual Energy form. I adopted the term from reading near-death experience accounts. Lawyers are infamous for shortening long concepts into buzz words. For example: Our true nature is Source Energy, which near-death experiencers have described from the human perspective as appearing as beings of light (hereinafter referred to as "Light Beings").

Light beings are not physical manifestations. They exist without physical matter. So, yes, they are different than aliens from outer space. What Barbara describes as an alien applies perfectly to Light Beings. Perhaps she saw a spiritual being rather than an alien.

"Can we communicate with our own light being by talking or thinking words/thoughts? Do they respond? . . . How does our acknowledgement of being a light being within a human body help to advance us if we can not access our light being?"

First, I want to clarify that I use the term "Light Being" to refer to us-you and me-in our true spiritual form. Technically, we cannot have "our own light being" because we are Light Beings. It's like asking: can we communicate with our own self? Yes, we can talk to ourselves just like humans do when they mutter to themselves going through the aisles at the grocery store. (Oh, am I the only one that does that?) Some of what we consider to be insights actually comes from that part of us still in the spiritual state.

More importantly, we Light Beings only put part of our Energy into a human animal body, while the rest remains in pure spiritual form in what we call the afterlife. And we can access that part of ourselves still in the spiritual state, which has full and undiluted access to all of our innate spiritual powers, including access to the knowledge of the universe, the ability to instantly manifest physical reality, multiple simultaneous levels of awareness, unconditional love, total recall, and much more. Therefore, acknowledging and believing that we are Light Beings inhabiting human animal bodies removes the amnesia barrier that prevents us from consciously using our spiritual powers while in the body. That not only helps us advance ourselves and the humans we inhabit, but also improve the quality of our human experiences by giving us more control over them.

Thank you so much for being open to the message I returned from death to share.
Nanci

How do we achieve oneness with God/Source?

Recently, BACKWARDS reader Phil asked the following excellent and comprehensive question on oneness with God, which I was unable to answer in a short e-mail. I don't know the correct way to phrase it, but 'how does one go from separation to oneness/wholeness'? I just need the keyword(s) that will open the door and allow God into my life and therefore back to oneness. Is it being 'open, willing, focused, or what'?

There are no magic words. Nor are any needed. We are already one with Source/God. We do not have to do anything to get back to that state because we are in Source and have never left. That is the startling truth revealed to me as I merged back into our Creator after my body died. It was incredibly humbling to realize, and know to my very core, that I have never actually been separated from Source.

We feel like we are separate because that is how we are designed. If we were constantly aware of our true nature we would not have genuine experiences. We would be like the characters in the TV show Flash Forward, who, having seen the future, change their present to try to force a result. So, Source built in amnesia of our true nature. And that amnesia is nowhere stronger than when we inhabit physical matter bodies, like humans.

We were created because Source desired to know experientially all that it knows intellectually, all that it could conceive of to know, and all that could evolve to be known through its own creativity. Source is extremely curious by nature. So, in order to have the vast range of experiences it wanted, Source created characters in its mind that have individual personalities, emotions, self-awareness, and the will to live---us. We are all, each and every one of us, simply parts of Source's mind, similar to the dream characters we create each night. And, just as our dream characters get tucked away in our memories upon awakening from sleep, we get merged back into Source when we have "run our course" of living the illusion of separation.

The amnesia of who we really are--that we are part of Source -- will be removed when we are ready to dissolve back into Source's collective personality after completing our journeys experiencing physical matter. Then we will experience the oneness with God that Phil mentions. Until then, our job is to experience what it is like to feel separate. To experience what human life is like. Enjoy human life for so long as it lasts. We will return to oneness with Source soon enough.

Thank you so much for being open to the message I returned from death to share.

Is reincarnation punishment for failing our life's mission for God?

BACKWARDS reader Ralph from the UK asks three related questions about reincarnation (below in bold typeface).

While in the afterlife (after my 1994 death), I received huge downloads of information about humans, our true nature and origin, and Source/God. That's where I got the answers to Ralph's questions. In short: humans are manifested characters in a manifested physical universe that exists solely within Source's own mind. Humans are animals with their own innate character traits and individual personalities. We are not humans. Although we seem to ourselves to be beings--and beings separate from Source at that--we are actually discrete parts of God's/Source's own consciousness/identity. I call these pieces of Source consciousness "Beings of Light" because that's what we look like to near-death experiencers. We are Light Being parts of Source who choose to occupy human bodies as "souls."

One of the most unique aspects of my afterlife experience is that I had the firsthand opportunity not only to receive "knowings" about life, death, and the afterlife, but also to experience the afterlife from three different perspectives: human, Light Being, and the Collective Being Source itself. I have to move back and forth among these perspectives to answer Ralph's questions.

Ralph writes: "[I]t concerns the view some people have that we are here to perform a particular exercise for Source as part of our mission . . . and if we failed to execute the mission we were sent here for, presumably by Source, that we would have to come back and re-do it again. . . . Is there any validity to this, from your perspective?"

First, the idea that we are here because we have a mission or task to perform to Source's expectations, usually in order to get into heaven, arises from animal fear of death. Humans instinctively know they will die. Unawakened Light Being "souls" inside humans have the hope that if only they knew exactly what to do, and how to do it, then they could earn their way into heaven. Because they are unawakened, these souls do not remember that going back to the "heaven" level of awareness is automatic for us Light Being souls. We do not have to earn it.

Second, the concept of punishment for failure is likewise human. Humans fear retribution from Source because they experience it from each other in the animalistic competitive cultures they have created. Unawakened souls inside humans project human nature onto Source in the honest belief it creates an accurate picture of the creator. But it does not. Source does not judge or engage in retribution.

Third, the assumption that reincarnation is punishment for failure at a spiritual goal is grounded in human physical and emotional pain. Returning to human life can seem like punishment to someone who has lived with pain. But Source does not consider reincarnation to be punishment. Nor do we --when we are in Light Being form.

According to information Source itself gave me while I was merged into it, our (Light Beings) only purpose in life is to experience the physical matter universe so that Source can know experientially what it already knows intellectually. As parts of Source, we enter into physical matter environments and beings to have the opportunity to feel sensations and emotions (including pain) that Source cannot experience in its innate form. I was also told that WE choose the subject, theme, or emotion we wish to experience. We preview what a chosen life is likely to be like, before entering into a fetus, in order to determine whether that human life will provide the opportunities to experience what we seek. We then live physical lives over and over and over again, each time experiencing a different perspective on our chosen subject, theme, or emotion until we have accumulated a 360 degree experiential understanding of it. So, when we reincarnate, it is because WE have chosen to do so in order to garner yet another perspective on our chosen topic. We are not sent by Source as punishment for failure or anything else.

"I also find it difficult to understand if we all have these 'missions to perform' but eventually all merge back into Source, how does Source keep tabs on which strand has been successful in it's Earth Trip and which has not. Are you able to shed any light on this?"

Source showed me that our only mission while in human bodies is to experience human life, whatever that life brings our way. There is no possibility that we can fail at it. Most of us perform no specific mission for Source. So Source has no need to either keep tabs on us or judge whether we have been successful. Just having human experiences is success! For the few of us who have chosen to have specific experiences (such as during a near-death experience we chose to come back in order to raise our children), we may have panels or councils of Light Beings who are in the afterlife who help guide us and keep us on track. However, I have personal experience that if we fail at the mission we chose, we are given a choice to either stay here and try again or go home with no stigma of failure at all being attached.

"There is a commonly held belief by many metaphysical authors that anyone who commits suicide will have to come back and repeat the journey. This then brings into question, what exactly is considered to be suicide in the upper firmament. A person in intense pain, suffering terminal illness might head to Switzerland and engage in euthanasia. Is this then classified as a suicidal act from a non human perspective?"

Humans have various judgments about suicide because they are judgmental by nature. The idea that suicide is a failure, and reincarnation the punishment for it, is judgmental. The metaphysical authors you reference are thus unknowingly presenting a human viewpoint, not that of Source. Source is not even a tiny bit judgmental.

The understanding I was given in the afterlife is that suicide is not judged--at all. If someone chooses suicide as the means of exiting the human manifestation, that is fine from a spiritual perspective. Our overriding innate emotion as parts of Source is unconditional love. It can be an unconditionally loving act to release a suffering human animal from its pain via suicide or euthanasia. As a culture, we accept this loving sacrifice for our beloved pets but not for our own human animal host bodies. That is because most decisions about how human life will proceed is made by the animals themselves, not us souls within. And humans' overriding innate drive is survival at all costs. Light Being souls have no survival instinct and can accept suicide without judgment.

Thank you so much for allowing me to share with you what I learned in the Light.
Nanci

Source's Compassion vs. Control

Several readers pointed out to me that my June BACKWARDS Glimpse answers did not show that Source has much compassion for those who have been raped, abused, or murdered. Source DOES feel overwhelming compassion, and deep love and gratitude, for all those parts of itself that suffer while engaged in this physical manifestation. I know because I personally experienced Source's emotions while merged into it during my afterlife experience. My purpose in the newsletter, however, was to explain how Source can find the painful aspects of human life interesting because, for Source, none of what happens in the physical universe is real. That is not, however, Source's only reaction to our experiences. Because we ARE Source it suffers as we do. Source's own emotions are intimately entwined with ours because we are ONE collective being.

Despite its compassion, Source does not CONTROL what its Light Beings manifest in this earthly environment. As aspects of Source's own personality, we Light Beings have exactly the same character traits and innate powers that Source the Collective Being does. Source cannot change its own nature. Thus it cannot change the fact that its parts have the ability to manifest physical reality, including what happens on Earth. We have free will to use that ability because Source has free will to act. Source does not step in and take control over our manifestations. Though Source could exercise Collective Being self-control, which is what would be required to control us, doing so would defeat its creative purpose to experience all that can possibly be experienced in a physical universe. Moreover, Source knows we have free will to stop the horrible things we do while encased in human bodies if we so choose.

First, we Light Beings collectively, with and through Source, have the power to design what happens in the earth manifestation. But we resist awakening to our true nature and power as parts of Source. We can collectively change human nature because humans are manifestations. We need only agree on the spiritual level to do so. I recall seeing that major changes in mankind have traditionally been accomplished via Light Being-initiated changes to human DNA or major downloads of Universal Knowledge, both of which appear as evolution. We can evolve mankind faster if we awaken more of those of us in the body to our true spiritual nature.

Second, we have the power to take control over our individual human animal hosts' behavior so that their violence, greed, territoriality and revenge do not craft our daily lives. We Light Being souls seem to be the ones who lack compassion for each other. We are the ones who refuse to take responsibility for how our bodies act. We individually refuse to train them and guide them so that their behavior is less violent and more loving. Humans are animals that can be trained just like you train your dog to refrain from certain behaviors. More importantly, each of us can exercise our own free will to act more from our spiritual nature. It requires being present in the moment and consciously choosing a different behavior. While human emotions may be instantaneous, their behaviors in response to those emotions need not be.

Third, we can put forth the effort to heal our own eternal personalities, which have been influenced by the traumas of numerous human lifetimes. We can also heal our hosts' traumas accumulated throughout this lifetime. We have the power to self-heal as part of our manifesting ability. Healing old wounds will prevent them from motivating present behavior.

If we truly want a world free of rape, abuse and murder, the power to change it is within each of us. I find that most of the questions readers ask me relate to what I have written about Source's perspective on our existence, such as . . .

BACKWARDS reader Elaine's questions:
"If it's true that we don't have separate identities, that our identity was created by source for source's desire to have experiences, why then do we need a life review where we take stock of our behavior on earth and determine if we met the goals we set for ourselves pre-birth? In other words, the life-review concept suggests the idea of separate identities for each soul."

From human perspective, we seem to be separate individuals. When I resumed Light Being form after dying I continued to perceive myself as an individual. It was only later, while merging into Source, that I was able to see life from Source's perspective. I then realized I am not separate from Source and never have been. Each perspective is real. Each is valid. Each disappears as the new one replaces it. Source created us as aspects of its own personality in order to experience "separateness" and all the richness having multiple personalities offers. For only through personanalities conceptually separate from, and different than Source, could Source experience thoughts, emotions, behavior and life from a perspective other than its innate nature. The same is true for us. We can imagine what it would be like to be someone else or act differently through dreams, daydreams, watching movies, reading books, etc., all of which can employ characters or personality traits different from our own innate nature.

Source cares deeply about its diverse personalities because we are all part of Source. It is similar to our own desire to understand and heal our "inner child" and integrate that part of us into our adult personality. The fact that our "inner child" is not really a separate being does not make us any less interested in resolution of trauma suffered at that stage in our lives. The same is true for Source. It wants to heal itself of the traumas earth life induced. The life review helps do that.

Source is keenly aware of how emotionally traumatic the transition can be from believing one is a human being to knowing one is a Being of Light, and from believing one is an individual Light Being to knowing there is only one being in our universe and we have never been separate from it. So the transition process has been lovingly designed to ease us into each new perspective on life as we awaken from the human illusion.

From the human perspective (and we still think like humans at this stage), the life review can feel judgmental. Either the soul feels it is being judged by others or it is judging itself on how well it performed in human life. From the spiritual vantage point, the life review presents the first growth step in transitioning into the Light Being perspective. It allows the soul to witness its just passed human life with the unconditional love perspective that comes from being bathed in Source's love and Light. From Source's perspective, the life review offers healing via the opportunity to place into context all that the soul experienced on earth, viewing it more globally. It's a chance to answer the question "what did it all mean," to find closure and new direction. It's Source loving itself through an honest self-evaluation of what its personality fragment experienced and how that integrates with all that exists within. So, bottom line, yes, the life review concept does relate to our belief that we are separate identities from Source. It exists because Source loves all of its personalities so much that it wants us to understand and integrate the physical experience. "And I think the reason your assertion about merging into source would bother people is because if we're all part of source and not individuals as we think we are, then our loved ones who have passed away aren't really 'with us' in spirit as we might have hoped." Au contraire, Elaine. It is the whole idea that we are separate individuals that makes us think we are apart from our deceased loved ones. From Source's perspective our loved ones are always with us. Everyone is everywhere all the time--because we are all personalities of one being. While we are merged with Source our loved ones are a mere "thought" away. We are not separated from them; we merge into them. It doesn't get more intimate than that. It is human perspective that creates the illusion of separation from our deceased loved ones. "Dead" means "gone" to human animals.

So it is not merging into Source that separates us from our deceased loved ones; it is being locked into human perspective that does it. Psychics, mediums and others who have experienced after-death communications have been able to do so because they can break out of that human mindset and accept the fact that everyone is everywhere all the time within Source. All one has to do is "tune in" to those who have left human life in order to experience them here and now.

Thank you so much for allowing me to share with you what I learned in the Light.Nanci Nanci L. Chapter 4 of BACKWARDS Guidebook answers this question directly. I recommend you read that material in addition to the following:

"If the source is all goodness and love and he is the one creating our reality as we see it, isn't he actually manifesting and creating evil thoughts?"

From the human perspective, it would appear that Source is manifesting and creating evil thoughts. That is because human animals have innate character traits that produce very limited and biased perspectives. Humans are extremely judgmental by nature and assign the judgment "evil" relatively randomly. Note that we do not call a tiger mauling its prey "evil." Nor do we label our pets "evil" when they chew up our furniture or kill rats in the garage. Violent and irresponsibile behavior is expected of beings humans label "animals." But humans do not see themselves as animals or their "evil" behavior as the animal behavior it actually is.

Humans also project blame for what happens to them upon someone else. By nature, human animals accept no responsibility for their actions (just like cats and dogs take no responsibility for peeing on our carpets.) Humans have no ability to manifest reality. So events do "happen to" them.

WE, however, are Light Being Souls living within human animal bodies. WE are not humans. We can view human life from the Light Being perspective: there is no good or evil, only experiences consistent with a being's innate character. Source and its Light Being personalities are not judgmental.
More importantly, Light Being Souls DO have the ability to manifest physical reality. WE are responsible in large part for what happens to humans. Most of us do not accept responsiblity for our manifestations because we are unaware that we even have this ability. We cannot change what we manifest until we choose to manifest consciously from unconditional love rather than unconsiously from our human hosts' nature.

"And if this is all the source's creation by thinking and dreaming, then what control do we have, aren't we then just puppets on a string?"

First, although everything in the universe, including all thought, resides exclusively within Source's mind, that mind has been fragmented, divided, channeled or directed into zillions of different and unique personalities. WE Light Beings are some of those personalities.

Second, each of us, as part of Source, has the very same ability to manifest physical reality. We co-create with Source what humans perceive as reality. That is the control we have. We collectively have creative power over what is manifested in the physical world.

"How can this god of only pure love and goodness conjure up such evil thoughts?"

We Light Beings serving as Souls to human animals are actually the aspects of Source responsible for what humans call "evil." We allow our animal hosts to act in hurtful and violent ways because we do not realize that we can prevent it. Worse yet, we have become so acclimated to human nature through reincarnation that we allow our hosts to use our innate creativity and intelligence to conjure up new forms of violence. We can tame our animal hosts only when we come to believe we are separate beings from them. We can retrain our bodies to act more benevolently only if we become aware of our own true nature and relationship to Source, and then choose to act from our spiritual nature.

"It would be my understanding that if the God, that knows no evil, has no darkness and is only pure light and love, then his thought can only be pure and loving and this world would not consist of any evil whatsoever. Do you see what I'm saying?"

Yes, I see what you are saying. Some of it, however, is not an accurate representation of Source's nature. Source is not a one-dimensional character as depicted in many spiritual or religious belief systems. Its zillions of unique personality divisions fill Source with every imaginable experience. Source is truly the most multi-dimensional entity possible. Therefore, Source knows what humans call "evil" by and through those of us who are living within the human animal manifestation. "Darkness" exits in Source by virtue of the fact that much of the universe has such dim Light that it appears dark to us. Source does not judge these or other thoughts AT ALL. It does not label some thoughts "pure and loving" and others "evil." All thoughts are equally interesting and valuable to our Source.

More information: http://www.backwardsbooks.com

Question and Answers 2009

Hello!
BACKWARDS reader Larry has posed the question that epitomizes the human perspective:

"What motivation is there to suppress our emotion and be nice?"

From the perspective of the human animals we inhabit? None. Animals act instinctively, without regard for others' feelings and in complete ignorance of the consequences of their actions. For an animal to "be nice," it must be trained. You train a pet not to use your home's floors as a bathroom, or to chew household furnishings, or to wake you up at night to go out. You train your pet to respond to your commands. Reward or punishment is used to "motivate" the animal to adapt to the training.

Human animals must be trained the same way. Parents potty-train their children, teach them to share, how to play "nice," and to eat with spoons and forks. They train their offspring to behave in society--not to throw temper tantrums, hit brothers and sisters, or demand to be the constant center of attention. These lessons are not necessary because of young age, but because a human child is a wild animal. Reward and punishment must be used to train children because they are not naturally motivated to be nice.

Like other animals, humans have the capacity to learn the cause and effect relationship between actions and consequences of their behavior. They can choose to "be nice" in accordance with their training in order to avoid unwanted consequences. Thus, the motivation is often to obtain reward or avoid unwanted consequences rather than any intrinsic desire to be nice.
Fortunately, WE are not humans. WE are spiritual beings who merely inhabit humans in order to experience what their life is like. We Beings of Light are innately "nice" because of our origin within and connection to Source. We are unconditionally loving by nature, and our actions reflect that when we are in our pure spiritual state.

When we inhabit humans as souls we have a choice. We may sit back and allow our host to live a purely animal life, without interference or guidance from us. Or, we can take control and train our hosts to act primarily as we wish, to live a life more congruent with our spiritual values. "Knowings" I received during my beyond death experience informed me that we can access our innate spiritual character and powers even while enmeshed in the physical world. That allows us to "be nice" to each other despite the human emotions broiling just below the surface. Most of us follow a middle course. We alternate between allowing our host bodies to dictate our behavior and taking care (we call it exercising self-control) not to allow raw emotion to motivate our actions.

Thank you so much for allowing me to fulfill my mission.Nanci Nanci L. Does this include rape, murder, child abuse, etc?"

Yes, and here's how: The experiences I had while I was in the afterlife showed me very graphically how a change in perspective totally changes how we feel about something. While we are Light Being souls inhabiting human bodies we most often take the human perspective. We may see violence against our own species as inhumane and intolerable and judge it unacceptable in God's eyes. That's purely human perspective, which we assume Source shares.

Now, try to take the perspective of a mosquito. As a mosquito, you take the insect's view of life. You may see using bug sprays and chemical fogging against mosquitoes as violent and intolerable and judge it unacceptable in God's eyes. This is purely insect perspective, which, as an insect, you have projected onto Source.

Going back to human perspective for a moment, we know that mosquitoes carry diseases and toxins that raise red welts on our skin when they bite us. We judge it permissible to kill mosquitoes in order to protect humans. They are just insects, after all, and their deaths are not as important as human deaths. Humans assume Source shares this perspective. See how changing perspective from human to mosquito and back again shows that one's opinion about killing changes depending upon whether it is your own species being killed? And see how each species assumes that Source must feel the same way it does about life? Each species has created Source in its own image.

Source, however, takes the Creator's view of life--not the human's or the mosquito's. Source knows that humans and mosquitoes alike are manifestations of its own creativity and imagination. All human and mosquito lives take place solely as thoughts within Source's mind. They are mere thoughts. And thoughts do not suffer when we twist them, torture them, and ultimately kill them by stopping thinking them. It is only Source's infinite power that even allows its thoughts to feel like they are real, honest-to-God physical entities with lives that truly exist apart from Source's mind. I know this is a very hard concept to grasp. In fact, even though I had been in the afterlife for what seemed like a long time, I did not know or understand this concept until I was merging directly into Source's Collective Being/Energy. I was then able to see life from Source's perspective. More importantly, I discovered that once we merge into Source, we no longer believe ourselves to be separate beings from it.

"Who but an insane person would generate this reality?"

Who indeed. Have you ever seen a TV show full of murder, like maybe CSI: Miami or focusing on rape and child abuse, like Law & Order SVU? Are the creators of these shows insane? Have you ever read violent books like James Patterson or Michael Connelly novels? Are these authors insane? Are the people who watch these TV shows insane? Are the readers of these novels insane? Don't these shows and books prove humans find "all kinds of human experiences interesting . . . include[ing] rape, murder, child abuse, etc." just like William's first question asks about Source? But, you may say, TV shows and books are not "reality" to humans. They are products of creativity and imagination that allow humans to explore unacceptable subjects in a safe way. In the very same way that TV shows and books are not real to humans, earth life is not real to Source. The earth manifestation is a product of Source's creativity and imagination that allows it to explore emotions it could not otherwise experience. That does not make Source insane any more than humans are insane for expressing violent imaginings in books and movies.

"What could a dormant soul learn from this experience except that it is better to exist in the afterlife than this man-made hell on earth?"

Souls are not dormant when inhabiting human bodies. They are manifesting earth reality as extensions of Source. This is not a "man-made hell on earth." It is a Source and its Light Being extensions-made hell on earth. Humans have no ability at all to manifest reality. Humans do, however, have personalities--animal personalities with violent tendencies. Those violent instincts get manifested into physical reality by Light Being souls who think they are human and are not aware they are manifesting human thoughts into physical reality. We Light Beings can either manifest consciously or unconsciously. But we are doing it all the time! And to the extent that we continue to manifest unconsciously we will continue to manifest all kinds of horrors arising from human animal instincts. The way to improve earth conditions is for all Light Being souls to wake up to the fact that we are manifesting this "reality" and change what we are manifesting.

Humans without Souls - March 25, 2009

I am gratified to learn that people are reading the footnotes to my first book, BACKWARDS: Returning to Our Source for Answers. I know that because so many people have written to me asking about soulless humans, which is the subject of footnote # 30. Recently, I received the following excellent and comprehensive questions on this topic and thought the answers should be shared.

"You write that a human being can live without a soul. The very thought of that freaks me out a little."

I understand completely. It would freak me out too had I not learned about it while basking
in the unconditional love and acceptance of the Light, during my beyond death experience.

While we are in human bodies, we come to believe that we ourselves are human. That is perfectly logical, given the limitations of five physical senses and the false validation they give us about our nature. The perception of humanness is reinforced by the amnesia we experience about who we really are-eternal, powerful, spiritual beings who are part of the Source itself.
But we are not, in fact, human beings. We are Beings of Light, for lack of a better term,
representing facets of Source's own self-awareness and multi-dimensional personality.

We merely INHABIT human animals-as what we call "souls"-in order to experience what it
is like to live as a human does. It is far more complicated than this, but the concept of humans' relationship to Source can be likened to the relationship that characters in dreams, virtual reality games, or novels have to their creators. The characters are creations of the dreamer, gamer or writer. They are not "real." But the dreamer, gamer or writer has invested a lot of his/her own personality, emotions, thoughts, and curiosity into those characters.

Source is the artist and creator in our universe. Its creations in the physical world are "manifestations" and are not "real" to Source. They are like dreams, virtual reality, or literature. Humans are part of the creative environment; they are some of the characters. We are like the dreamer's, gamer's or writer's "own personality, emotions, thoughts, and curiosity" invested into those characters. We are not the humans themselves any more than dreamers, gamers and writers are their characters.

". . . what happens with the personality "of the body" when the soul leaves its human host?"

It continues, for the most part, within the Being of Light/soul's personality. We forevermore carry with us all the thoughts, memories, sensory input and experiences of our various human hosts. And, because in our natural spiritual state we have total recall, no moment of human life is ever lost or forgotten. However, most of what we think of as the human personality is actually that of the soul inside.

"How can you tell when somebody has become soul-less?"
You can't. But don't worry about it. It does not happen very often and is nothing to fear. Every dream, virtual reality game, movie and novel has "extras"-characters that do not seem to play any major role in the plot. Think of a soulless human animal as an "extra" in the plot that is your human's life.

"And if a human being doesn't have a soul - is she then, so to say, 'disarmed' from having Light Being abilities such as consciously manifesting reality and unconditional love?"
A human never has these abilities. Only the Light Being soul does. So, yes, that person has no access to Light Being powers or abilities.

"And when the human finally dies, what happens to that very consciousness after death? Does it disappear? Is the consciousness of humans taking another part on its path than the Light Being soul when death occurs?"
Yes, that human's animal "consciousness" (if such a term legitimately applies) disappears from the manifested world. But it forever remains part of Source just like all of creation. The Light Being soul continues to evolve its way through numerous experiences and "lifetimes" until it merges back into Source.

"Could me myself maybe be without a soul right now? Am I born without a soul? How could I know?"
You cannot be without a soul because you ARE a soul. You would not be having thoughts about spirituality, life after death, and your relationship with Source if you were not a Light Being soul.

"Which people are not chosen? How many of us have souls? 99 percent? 10 percent?"

I do not have the answers to these questions. My mission is to share what Universal Knowledge "knowings" I obtained during, and remember from, my afterlife experience. And I remember only a tiny bit about this topic.
